Lou, I deleted my earlier comments, so I could answer based on the prompts from the class site.
Here they are:
• I especially liked the how to on podcasting. This showed how easy it was to load a podcast. This was a valuable tool.
• I am not sure about the relation of the key note to the idea of podcasting. How does that relate?
• This part of the video was very successful was the podcasting tutorial. I would have liked to watch her screen strokes too. This would reinforce what she was saying.
• You might be interested in these resources -- the podcasting I most often watch are on iTunes. I also like Grammar Girl (http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/).
• While watching your video, I wondered about how successful the podcasting was from the tutorial. Can they track the loads? Has subscription increased?
• I have seen others be succeed with video creation when . . . -- I don't understand this question :)
After watching your video, I am really energized to try my hand at podcasting. I have used Audacity before and know that the learning curve is low on the program. I have noticed a bit of chatter on podcasting from Ed Tech bloggers lately. I will definitely keep thinking about this!
I enjoyed your video. It was a good idea to include someone who uses podcasting and explain how to use it. I would have liked to have seen what she was demonstrating on her computer screen. Perhaps, you could have zoomed in more. Overall, you did a great job.
Lou, I liked how you included the demonstration on how to create a podcast. I also liked how you included images of where your "conference" was taking place. While watching your video, I wondered about what resources were available especially for younger students relating to podcasting. Great video.
Good professional production with one flaw. The timing on the pages with text was too short. I could not read through the text before it went on to the next page.
